Deadlines Met and Savings Realized in $1.1 Billion M&A Due Diligence Engagement
Challenge
A private sales and marketing agency was in the process of being acquired by private equity investors for more than $1.1 billion. In order
to meet the buyers' stringent time schedule, the company had to complete pre-acquisition due diligence and corporate clean up, which included
preparing disclosure on 23 private businesses out of which the company was recently consolidated, and manage the simultaneous due diligence
efforts of nine separate bidders.

Challenge
A publicly traded pharmaceutical company shifted its focus from developing treatments for a wide range of chronic diseases to concentrating on

the research, development and marketing of a commercial drug, and divesting a national sales and distribution business and sales force. The company
